JEWELS
Many decades ago, Guayasamin began the design of jewels in precious metals-gold 18 carats and silver of 900-, utilizing all types of precious, semi precious and natural stones. His designs adopt concepts and forms of the aborigines cultures of the pre-colonial world, that appear in the jewels and pottery of archaeological discoveries, of which Guayasamin is a grand collector. This heritage has been donated to the Foundation. .

FIGURES OF BALSA WOOD
Taking as base an antique tradition of craftsmanship of the village Calderon, neighboring city of Quito, where the traditional "Guaguas de Pan" are made- figures decorated and colored, that are mede with bread dough- the artist Guayasamin has recreated over the trivial and Ecuadorian balsa wood, a fine craftsmanship that resembles elements of a tropical ecology

METALS
Metals worked by hand- this is an antique technique in molding them- creates the sculpted design of Guayasamin, a craftsman of great quality and originality.
